Links of
Interest to Players and Coaches
This feature
will be a new service that we provide for coaches and players who
participate in basketball events organized by The Great Northwest
Basketball League. We receive dozens of calls and e-mails each year
from organizations that sponsor skills camps, AAU teams, elite
playing opportunities, team camps and exposure camps. Many of them
ask for our mailing list or to do mailings for them. For privacy
reasons, and so that coaches aren’t inundated with mailings they
might rather not receive, we have refrained in the past from
disseminating such information to the coaches and players who
participate in our events.
We recognize,
however, that some of this information may be of great interest to
coaches, players and parents. As a result, going forward, for a
modest fee, we will provide space at this location for vendors
offering products or services of interest to coaches and players.
Providers will have the opportunity to post a brief message
describing the product or service they are offering. Entities
interested in posting information should contact Terri Green at
715-749-3052 or
terri@gnbl.org.
For those interested in
posting, we have approximately 1150 teams playing in our League, so
our website is accessed regularly by over 2000 League coaches, over
10,000 players and more than 20,000 parents. We also organize elite
events for youth (Wisconsin State Invitational Championship
Tournament) and high school varsity (High School Elite Invitational
Tournament) basketball teams, totaling approximately 700 teams, over
1000 coaches, 7000 players and over 10,000 parents who access this
website on a seasonal basis.
Since many of the
organizations that ultimately post information here are not well
known to us, The Great Northwest makes no representation about the
quality of the services or products being offered, nor are we liable
for any misrepresentation of facts or tortious conduct by any entity
advertising their products or services. We provide this service
solely as an effort to disseminate information about products and
services in which coaches, players and players' parents may have an
interest. |
